Computational Genomics Lab

Intro to Computational Genomics Lab : Level 10

Congratulations !! You are now a proficient bioinformatician!! Now set out to explore more – there is all the same data we analyzed in mouse stem cells in human stem cells. We can ask a bunch of interesting questions about how Doxycycline affects the stem cell transcriptome and epigenome..

This is now a citizen science project – send in your analyses, make a figure and some text, and you can be an author. The class successfully finished and already found genes conserved between human and mouse and lncRNAs that are regulated – there is still much more to do. Please join us!

100000000000000/10 class! I never thought I would understand coding at all, but now I do!

Student

Love professor Rinn and his class, really enjoyed the flow of the class and I felt like the format really worked well.

Cool course, dope professor!

Student

This class was awesome. There was a huge emphasis on real world experience, and I really liked this aspect of the course. I wish there were a bit more guidance on the projects, but other than that I don't have any real complaints. Using a supercomputer was awesome and even helped me market myself for a job. Thank you for a great semester and I will be telling everyone to take this class!
